Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 60 pages; Presumed 1st edition with 1906 and 1907 copyright notices. Tall 8vo HC in dark green cloth backed paper covered boards. Spine unlettered, as issued; title lettered light green paper covered boards. Snugly bound and generally neat. Just light shelf rub to boards at edges; spine ends lightly crimped. Mild shelf soiling to board surfaces and light toning to boards at edges. Expected superficial toning to text stock at edges. One of several alternative phonetic spelling systems developed at the turn of the century, fortunately none of which took hold. Tables of sounds, spellings and symbols including a number of notable pieces of writing rendered into the script. Uncommon. VG or better.
