Slurs, dotted notes and dynamics are introduced. A bowing variations page has different rhythms and bowings to apply to a scale, arpeggio or melody. Canons and rounds provide experience in ensemble playing.Piano accompaniments for these pieces are in the Piano Accompaniments to Violin Books 1, 2, and 3, another part of this A Flying Start for Strings series.
