Blue cloth. 149 pp., plus ads in the rear. A few black and white photo plates of airplanes, etc., throughout. A collection of letters by Harold Rosher, a pilot in the Royal Naval Air Service in Britain. The letters, written between 1914 and 1916 recall action, fighting and missions during the war, as well as the more ordinary aspects of his days. He died in 1916 while testing a newly repaired airplane. VERY GOOD condition. Minor fading, scuffing and soiling to the covers. Some scuffing to the cloth along the extremities.
