Flying Kaur — The Veiled Lioness is a contemporary poetry collection that explores the invisible journey of a woman who survives betrayal, silence, exile, and loss, only to rediscover herself with a strength that no longer seeks permission. Blending lyrical poetry with reflective prose, this collection is an intimate meditation on identity, resilience, memory, and the quiet power of becoming.
The woman who once searched for acceptance discovers that sovereignty begins within. She no longer measures her worth through validation, sacrifice, or survival. Instead, she inhabits a quiet confidence that is both deeply personal and universally recognizable. The lioness, once hidden beneath expectation and silence, finally stands revealed—not through conquest, but through presence.
Throughout the collection, recurring symbols such as the lioness, lotus, ocean, fire, moonlight, roots, and scars create a rich emotional mythology that bridges personal experience and collective memory. The poems draw inspiration from the lives of women who carry families, traditions, responsibilities, and grief while quietly preserving their own dreams beneath layers of duty and expectation.
Written in accessible yet evocative free verse, Flying Kaur — The Veiled Lioness speaks to readers of contemporary poetry, literary memoir, feminist literature, and reflective prose. Its themes of healing, identity, motherhood, belonging, resilience, emotional survival, and self-discovery resonate across cultures and generations, making the collection both intimate and universal.
This is not a book about revenge, perfection, or becoming someone new.
