Synopsis:
Synthetic materials are being increasingly used in fishing flies partly because of the scarcity of some natural materials and partly to add variety. In this guide to flytying with synthetics, the author introduces the reader to some of the many synthetics used in flytying and describes the new techniques used when tying with these materials. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Pretty fresh looking, clean copy. On the whole the maroon cloth boards are bright with crisp title lettering on the spine in gilt. A little knocked and worn at the fore edge corners. No inscriptions, although toned at the page block edge and prelim pages. Dust jacket is nice and bright, on the whole, although edge worn, with a few small tears and chips at the top edge, more especially on the back cover. Not price clipped.
