Synopsis:

Synthetic materials are being increasingly used in fishing flies partly because of the scarcity of some natural materials and partly to add variety. In this guide to flytying with synthetics, the author introduces the reader to some of the many synthetics used in flytying and describes the new techniques used when tying with these materials. Included in the book are variations of classic flies and also completely new patterns. There is also a dictionary of synthetic materials and 16 colour plates with full identification guide.
