Neuware - The Ribble Valley extends from the Yorkshire Dales to the Lancashire Coast and it has in the past served as both a political boundary and as a major communication route. This book looks at how the valley has changed between the last ice age and the present, how it has been carved by the forces of ice and water, and how man has sought to use it for his own ends.
