Repint. Small vo. Illustrated with 24 beautiful colour plates by Cicely Mary Barker. Also some black and white line drawings. Grey boards with chequerboard pattern at each corner. Pastedown picture of the Wood Sorrel Fairy on front board. Blue illustrated endpapers. Near fine condition in very good unclipt dustwwrapper, depicting the Larch Fairy, in protective film sleeve. Cicely Mary Barker was an English Illustrator best known for her series of Illustrations depicting Fairies and Flowers. She used children from her sisiter's Kindegarden school as models for her fairies.This work originally published in 1923. Seller Inventory # 17948
