Paperback. Preface: Florida home inspection is a regulated professional service, but it is not a general certification that a house is code-compliant, defect-free, insurable, or suitable for a particular buyer. This handbook explains what the licence authorizes, how the Standards of Practice shape the inspection, how findings should be reported, and when a condition requires referral to another licensed profession. This handbook is designed for sequential study and field reference. New practitioners should begin with the legal and scope chapters. Experienced users may move directly to the technical, administrative, reporting, or enforcement part relevant to the assignment, but should always confirm the source and effective-date controls stated in the opening chapters.A Florida home inspector licence authorises the limited visual examination defined by Chapter 468, Part XV. It does not automatically authorise engineering, contracting, mould assessment, pest control, WDO reporting, code enforcement, or every insurance verification service.Chapter List: Chapter 1: Purpose, Scope, and Legal Update MethodChapter 2: Regulatory Structure, Definitions, and ExemptionsChapter 3: Initial LicensureChapter 4: Endorsement, Military Paths, and Application DisputesChapter 5: Renewal, Continuing Education, and Licence StatusChapter 6: Professional Scope and Unlicensed-Practice BoundariesChapter 7: Business Entities, Trade Names, and AdvertisingChapter 8: Insurance CoverageChapter 9: Client Intake and Conflict ScreeningChapter 10: Disclosures and Pre-Inspection AgreementsChapter 11: Recordkeeping and Data ManagementChapter 12: Communication, Complaints, and Quality ControlChapter 13: Pre-Inspection ResearchChapter 14: Tools, PPE, and Optional TechnologyChapter 15: Inspection Sequencing and Unsafe ConditionsChapter 16: Photography and Property ConditionsChapter 17: General Standards of PracticeChapter 18: Readily Accessible and Non-Destructive InspectionChapter 19: Limitations and ReferralsChapter 20: Code, Engineering, and Cost BoundariesChapter 21: Foundations and Supporting SystemsChapter 22: Floors, Walls, Framing, Roof Structure, and AtticsChapter 23: Electrical Service and PanelsChapter 24: Branch Circuits and Electrical DevicesChapter 25: Heating, Cooling, and Air DistributionChapter 26: Condensate, Combustion, and Thermal ObservationsChapter 27: Roof Coverings and DrainageChapter 28: Roof Access, Leakage, Service Life, and Wind ExposureChapter 29: Plumbing SystemsChapter 30: Interior ComponentsChapter 31: Exterior Components and Residential Pool BarriersChapter 32: Site Conditions Affecting the StructureChapter 33: Condominiums and Attached HousingChapter 34: Manufactured and Mobile HomesChapter 35: New Construction and Warranty InspectionsChapter 36: Reinspection and Repair VerificationChapter 37: Insurance Inspections Versus Home InspectionsChapter 38: Wind-Mitigation InspectionsChapter 39: Four-Point and Roof-Condition InspectionsChapter 40: WDO Inspection BoundariesChapter 41: Mould-Related Service BoundariesChapter 42: Required Written Report ContentChapter 43: Deficiency and Service-Life NarrativesChapter 44: Materiality, Safety, and ReferralsChapter 45: Photographs, Summaries, and DisclaimersChapter 46: Corrections, Addenda, and Quality AssuranceChapter 47: Prohibited Acts and ConflictsChapter 48: DBPR Complaints and DisciplineChapter 49: Civil Liability a Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.…
