Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1832 reprint, an early edition of the classic title published anonymously ("By a Lady"), before Mrs. Wirt's name was revealed in the 1837 edition. Unpaginated, and interleaved with blank sheets of various colors. Front boards are detached, hanging on by a few threads. Spine is considerably cracked, revealing text block. A few pages detached but laid-in.
