35 volumes bound in one, starting with no. 3326, even though the title page states 3336. 4to. Mixed pagination. Original 3/4 purple leather over cloth in matching color. Raised bands. Gilt lettering and ornamental decoration to spine. Marbled endpapers. Illustrated title pages. Collection of a few editions of the humorist satire magazine "Fliegende Blätter", which was published weekly between 1845 and 1944. With illustrations by acclaimed artists such as Wilhelm Busch, Gustav Adolf Closs, Hans Kaufmann, Adolf Oberländer, Franz Graf von Pocci, Moritz v. Schwind and Carl Spitzweg. Minor browning throughout, with foxing to first title page. Overall clean and tight. In German. Very good condition.
