Minor edge and corner wear, lightly scuffed and scratched, spine is creased front and back, overall a very crisp and clean first edition! Extremely rare and hard-to-find, very very scarce! 113 unmarked and uncreased historical pages nicely enhanced by black and white illustrations! "This interesting book has its roots in the thoughtfulness of its author, Bill Cunningham. It has its quality and value in his ability to do well the job of making people reappear realistically----to give meaning to the present on the basis of past talent, farsightedness, dignity, determination, and nobility. Cunningham, an attorney by profession with a compulsion to create through writing, recalls and records for us things that might otherwise fade away with the vanishing ot those with only memories to retain the past."------from the Introduction by Bill Powell.
