- Poetry
A sweeping verse collection that casts empire, exploration, and duty in bold, piercing light.
This edition gathers Kipling’s The Five Nations, Volume 1 of 2, into a muscular, panoramic poetry experience. Its voices range from sea markers and scouts to soldiers and settlers, all framed by a wary, often ironical view of power and progress. Expect vivid scenes, sharp contrasts, and urgent questions about loyalty, land, and the costs of nationhood.
- Experience maritime myth and frontier ambition through forceful, cadenced language.
- Follow explorers, soldiers, and workers as they navigate duty, discovery, and consequence.
- Encounter provocative portraits of empire, race, and modern civilization across a wide emotional range.
- Reflect on how bold action and hard labor shape nations and identities.
