Take a cross-section of the teaching, preaching, digital and physical media out there, we will see one very dominant theme – identity. The Identity Crisis is particularly critical in the Church. Understanding and embracing one’s true identity is vital to the success of a Saint in partnering with the Lord in their calling. The issue of identity is what distinguishes Adam’s sons from Jesus’ brothers.Paul provides Five archetypes of people in Ephesians 4 that can illuminate aspects of our identity that have been dormant, but are awaiting recognition. Historically, we have looked at these Five as super-Christians and labeled them “The Fivefold Ministry Offices”, but in this book we take a fresh look at them from a more personal, accessible perspective – as personality types. At the very core of who you are, there is one primary tendency that you manifest all the time. Understanding the Five helps in self-discovery, but also in organizational communication – in the Church and in the real world.
