Neuware - Byron Williamson came home from a combat tour in Iraq with one thing on his mind: To start a life and a family. Trained as a Combat Medic, he gets a job at Sacred Hearts hospital as a paramedic, marries his high-school sweetheart, and soon that dream becomes a reality. He has a beautiful wife, two incredible children, and a job he loves. Byron Williamson is the poster boy for the American Dream. But when his family receives the stunning news that three year old Liza has leukemia, Byron watches his dream rapidly dissolve into a nightmare. Now divorced, living in a squalid trailer, and drinking constantly, Byron is forced to watch as his little girl slowly succumbs to a disease that his skilled hands cannot cure. Soon, Byron is faced with the ghosts of his past, a past he thought long ago buried in the desert sand. Desperately, Byron fights to save his daughter, his family, his sanity, and possibly his life.
