Plates of Irish interest include Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, The Upper Lake of Killarney, Lismore Castle, Co. Waterford, Curraghmore, Co. Waterfore, The Giant's Causeway and Blarney Castle. Other plates include St. Michael's Mount, Storrs Windermere Lake, Taj Mahal, The Vale of Lonsdale, Furness Abbey & Delhi etc. Each plate is accompanied by a poem. Condition of plates VG. Half-title, title and Introduction pages loose. Some seperation in binding between half-title and ffep. Purple eps. Previous owner's name plate on fep. All edges gilt. Red marbled cloth boards with maroon leather spine. Gilt lettering and decoration on spine. Small gilt illustration in centre of both board. Front board faded. Top, bottom and edges of spine rubbed.
