Item description from seller

Crisp, clean pages except for pale foxing at endpapers and page block edges; securely sewn binding, the full cloth hard cover showing small brown spots along head and heel edges and in a few places at gutters; unclipped jacket shows dark foxing at flaps and rear, small, open edge tears at spine ends and corners, a few additional edge chips and creases, but is now protected in a clear sleeve. 89pp. Taken from Grahame's letters to his young son and a story written prior to The Wind in the Willows, these pieces will be of interest to those interested in the origins of the more famous work - or who simply want a little more time with Mole.
