Some decisions are made out of fear.
Others, out of desperation.
And some open doors that should never have existed.
In the province of Huelva, among golden beaches, silent marshes, whitewashed villages, ancient rivers, and mountains steeped in legend, a financial adviser watches his life begin to fall apart because of moneylenders willing to collect far more than a debt.
Cornered, humiliated, and with no way out, he makes an impossible choice: to drink a dark liquid that promises to give him the strength he needs to face those who have destroyed him.
But that liquid does not come alone.
With it, an inner voice awakens. A cold, intelligent, ruthless presence that begins to guide his steps, whisper solutions, and push him beyond his own limits. At first, the voice seems like an ally. Then, a sentence. And finally, something far older than fear itself.
What begins as a story of revenge against a group of moneylenders becomes a secret war where money, guilt, blood, and power are only the first pieces on a much darker board.
Because Huelva is not merely the setting.
It is a land marked by ancient pacts, buried paths, family secrets, and forces that have waited for centuries for the right moment to return.
As the protagonist accepts the price of his new strength, he discovers that every problem solved leaves a deeper wound, every enemy defeated reveals a greater threat, and every decision made under the influence of the voice brings him closer to the true origin of something the world still does not know how to name.
Armageddon does not begin with fire in the sky.
It begins with a desperate man.
With a glass of black liquid.
With a voice in the darkness.
And with the first toll.
The Origin of Armageddon is a contemporary dark fantasy saga where the luminous beauty of southern Spain merges with moral horror, ambition, revenge, and the birth of a threat destined to change everything.
A story for readers seeking broken protagonists, impossible choices, dark atmospheres, supernatural power, psychological tension, and one constant question:
How much would you be willing to pay to stop being a victim?
