Print on Demand. This book is the first of its kind to focus on the economic features of Pennsylvania turtles and their ecological roles. It was made possible in part by extensive field studies, dissections, and observations by the author, who hopes to contribute to the establishment of a second and more extensive, useful and accurate Report on the same topic. The author hopes to have many volunteers in different parts of the great state participate in ongoing observations and collections. A glossary and bibliography are included, along with an index. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
