Book Condition: Near Fine; slight bumps to spine slick spot on heel of spine at bottom. No DJ. Pictorial Wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is not creased or split. 155 pp. Pueblo is not the name of a tribe. It is merely the Spanish word for village and is applied to people who speak four different languages, pointing to at least four different places of origin. The peaceful Hopi, on the remote mesas of Arizona; the gentle Zuni, silversmiths and artists in pageantry; the Keres, with their traditions of war and mighty magic; the Tanoans, with their beautiful blend of Catholic and pagan ceremony." A story of the life and history of the Indians of the Cliff Dwellings. A clean pristine copy.
