Paperback. The First Glance Held is a quiet, deeply reflective collection of poems that explores the fragile space between strangers-where connection begins but is not yet defined. Moving through moments of fleeting eye contact, unspoken questions, shared silences, and the slow unfolding of emotional intimacy, the book captures the essence of almost love. With a restrained, meditative style, Sateesh Hegde invites readers to experience the subtle shifts that occur in human connection-the breath held before a word is spoken, the warmth that lingers after a glance, and the quiet possibilities that exist between two people who are not yet, but could be.This is not a story of grand romance, but of delicate beginnings-where feeling precedes language, and meaning lives in the spaces in between.
