Unlettered marbled boards and spine, rubbed on edges, the four front corners softened; a 10 cm split to the top half of the rear hinge. Internally offsetting to ffeps; the first (blank) page soiled with notes in pencil; the half title with elegant signature of Walter Scott on top of half title, the base of which is reinforced with tape 2 cm 2 cm. The rather grubby title page has an unidentifiable contemporaneous signature. The remaining contents tightly bound and mostly clean though there are occasional spots and finger smudges. Pp xii, viii, 480 + (1). Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 002800
