FIRST CONTACT STRIKE TEAM: THE MEMORY WAR
Every mission ends the same. Until it doesn't.
THE STRUCTURE WAS WAITING.
When an impossible transmission emerges from a dead star system, Earth Command sends its most elite unit - the First Contact Strike Team - to investigate.
Commander Elias Rook and his team are trained for hostile encounters, alien artifacts, and the unknown edges of space.
They are not prepared for recognition.
Orbiting a lifeless planet is a colossal alien megastructure that should not exist. It does not broadcast. It does not defend itself. It does not respond.
It remembers.
YOU HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE.
The moment the Strike Team enters the structure, reality begins to fracture.
Alien glyphs rearrange into their names.
The walls display their genetic profiles.
Scenes appear - moments of their deaths that never happened.
Orders Rook never gave echo through the corridors.
Mission logs exist that were never recorded.
The structure knows their fears. Their failures. Their choices.
And worst of all... it knows how each mission ends.
Every time.
FIRST CONTACT WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING.
As the team descends deeper into the labyrinth, they discover the truth: this is not an encounter.
It is a test.
A recursive intelligence has been observing humanity's first contact attempts across countless iterations. Every decision is recorded. Every failure is archived. Every timeline collapses into the same outcome.
Extinction. Collapse. Loss.
The structure does not want communication.
It wants a different answer.
THE WAR IS NOT AGAINST AN ENEMY.
It is against memory.
Against inevitability.
Against themselves.
With time fracturing and identities unraveling, the Strike Team must confront impossible questions:
What if your worst decisions already happened?
What if your memories cannot be trusted?
What if the only way to survive... is to choose differently than you ever have before?
Because the structure is watching.
And it is learning.
