Paperback. He's a lethal corporate fixer. I'm a broke receptionist with pink hair. And we're currently locked in a safehouse together.Felix has three main problems in life: crippling student debt, surviving off instant ramen, and an embarrassing, massive crush on his boss's terrifying bodyguard. Thomas is a mountain of a man who speaks five words a month and looks like he could snap a cinderblock in half. Felix is just a chaotic twenty-four-year-old trying to keep his head down at a luxury pet spa.But when Felix takes out the trash and accidentally overhears a deadly corporate kidnapping plot, his boring life violently implodes.Enter Thomas. After saving Felix from a brutal alleyway attack, the forty-two-year-old fixer is ordered to be Felix's 24/7 live-in protector until the threat is neutralized. Suddenly, Felix is trapped in close quarters with the lethal giant. And to Felix's utter shock, the terrifying Terminator goes into full, obsessive caretaking mode. Thomas upgrades Felix's awful mattress, cooks his meals, ties his ties, and stares at Felix's mouth with a dark, territorial hunger that makes Felix's knees weak. The chemistry between them is explosive. The size difference is staggering. But Thomas is convinced his soul is too dark to taint Felix's sunshine. He insists he's just a weapon, a monster hired to do the dirty work of billionaires. Thomas is determined to walk away the second the threat is gone to keep Felix safe.Felix, however, is notoriously stubborn. He's already survived a hit squad, and now? He's going to do whatever it takes to steal the monster's heart. This item is printed on demand.
