- Book 1 of 1: THE TARGET
Ashley Dallas is a trained assassin on a mission to find her father’s killer. To get closer to her target, Victor Langley, she infiltrates his world by working as his personal assistant, hiding her deadly skills behind a mask of obedience. She believes Victor is responsible for her father’s murder, and for years, she has prepared for the moment she can kill him and finally get justice.
But when Victor’s son tries to assault her, Ashley is forced to kill him in self-defense. This single act turns her from a hidden threat into a wanted fugitive. Now, Victor is hunting her, seeking vengeance for his son’s death, and Ashley must fight to survive while uncovering the truth behind her father’s murder.
As she battles Victor’s men and evades death at every turn, Ashley begins to uncover dangerous secrets—including the possibility that Victor may not have been the real mastermind behind her father’s execution. The deeper she digs, the more betrayals she uncovers, leading her to Gabriel Steele, a powerful and cunning businessman with his own agenda. Gabriel reveals a shocking truth: Ashley’s father wasn’t killed by Victor alone—the assassination was ordered by the very organization she works for.
Everything Ashley thought she knew was a lie.
Victor Langley was only a pawn in a much bigger conspiracy. The real masterminds are still out there, watching her, waiting for their moment to eliminate her, just like they eliminated her father.
With Victor dead, Ashley ’s true battle begins. She is no longer a tool of the agency—she is their worst nightmare. Armed with the truth, she prepares for war, vowing to hunt down and destroy everyone responsible for her father’s death.
Part 1 ends with Ashley stepping into a new war—one she never saw coming. She is no longer just an assassin.
She is the hunted. And she will make them all pay.
