Discusses rods, lines, reels, leaders, knots, flies, waders, and accessories, demonstrates basic casting techniques, and tells how, when, and where to fish. Wright was one of America's most independent, challenging, and original angling writers. His books and magazine articles established him as an innovator of the first order, and his 'heresies' have become well accepted, as they are brilliant fish-taking techniques.
