[20] + 192 pp. 9.25 x 6.5 . 8vo. Hardcover illustrated full cloth. In good condition, with light instances of scuffing to exterior. Hinges at front and rear remain in good condition. Some instances of wear and cracks to middle of text block. Light markings, along with prize bookplate on front pastedown. Nicely illustrated throughout with a variety of engravings and lithographs. Some instances of wear and tears to tissue guards. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. An extremely scarce piece on the services and travels of a British office in the Congo Free State. Includes foldout map at rear, along with an 1892 Inverness High School prize bookplate to a Ms. Mary Anderson for her performance in mathematics.
