Original vintage 1947 copy of "The Fireside Book of Ghosts." The book is overall in Very Good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. It retains its original dust jacket which is in Good- condition with some small chips & tears and some neat acid free archival repairs to the underside. The jacket comes in a protective removeable Brodart wrapper. This is the Bobb Merrill edition in the Grosset & Dunlap jacket. Apparently this combination is as issued as I found a few other examples of the Bobb Merrill printing in this jacket. The actual cloth covers of the book only have some minor wear. The binding is good and sound. There is a small & neatly written period name inscription to the front fep. The interior is lightly toned from age but is mostly crisp and clean, though there may be the very occasional page with a light bit of foxing, grubbiness or some kind of other very minor imperfection. The book measures approximately 8 3/4 inches by 6 inches and is 593 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition. Seller Inventory # 306895104204
