Print on Demand. This book is a thorough examination of hollow tile construction, a relatively new fireproof building material. It was emerging as a preferred method of constructing small buildings at the turn of the century. However, its use in larger projects was still nascent. The author, an expert in the field, provides detailed descriptions of the many types of buildings where it has been implemented, from residences and factories to schools and churches. The author provides practical advice on construction techniques and illustrates them with numerous photographs and diagrams. This book covers a wide range of topics related to hollow tile construction, making it a valuable resource for architects, engineers, and contractors. It remains an important text for anyone interested in the history of fireproof building materials. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
