Boom Town: Reflections (Volume 3) is a raw and honest memoir of Mark Gregg’s journey through life in America’s boom towns. From surviving a terrifying bullet incident in Rock Springs to working in the high-pressure world of coal power plants, this book dives deep into the challenges faced by power plant workers and their families.
Mark shares personal stories of navigating tough working conditions, learning hard lessons, and finding resilience in the face of adversity. It’s not just about the struggles in dangerous jobs, but also about the personal growth that comes from overcoming them. Set against the backdrop of the coal industry and the unique culture of boom towns, this memoir captures what it’s like to live through the highs and lows of a rapidly changing industrial world.
Perfect for readers who enjoy working-class memoirs, industrial history, and inspirational true stories, this book offers a real glimpse into life in the trenches of America's power plants.
