This book carries you on a journey across cities and countries, letting you experience life alongside the author-moments that bring tears of joy, others that touch the heart with sorrow-ultimately leaving you transformed, braver, and more inspired in shaping your own destiny. It opens your eyes to life with newfound clarity, revealing perspectives you may never have seen before. Written in the first person, like a journal, the book tells a life story about growth, awareness, and the rediscovery of the authentic self, but above all, about healing. A story about performance and the sacrifices it entails. About how emotions can either sabotage us or propel us forward. About how you build your freedom, step by step, even if you come from a system that conditioned you to believe you cannot. Freedom is the result of choices. It is the path through which you reclaim the power to decide, mental space, flexibility, and-ultimately-inner balance. "Yes, the pages of this book are about intuitions, encounters, experiences, exalted emotions as well as destructive ones, doubts and fears, hope and betrayal, integrity and immorality-but above all, it is about love", in all its forms. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.

The author of this book is a senior Anesthesia and Intensive Care physician and a yoga instructor, blending the rigor of science with the depth of practices that cultivate inner balance. She speaks four languages fluently and has lived and worked in several countries, experiencing firsthand diverse cultures and social environments. Her life, lived across different cities and varied settings, has been a continuous journey, filled with adventures and experiences that shaped her into the person she is today.
The daily routine, constant pressures of her professional environment, and the lack of real time for self-care and personal life led her to realize that her life was heading in the wrong direction, one that no longer resonated with her soul.
She let go of conventional constraints and the expectations imposed by others, transforming fear into courage and every obstacle into a bridge toward freedom and personal growth.
She wrote her own story to share the challenges and experiences she went through, inspiring readers to dare to push beyond their limits and follow their dreams, while also having the courage to make a change when they feel their lives are heading in the wrong direction or when the environment in which they live or work becomes harmful.
