Sofia Sloth and Tai Turtle’s Mindful Adventure Series: Finding Calm: Sofia's Day at the Park is the first book in a delightful series about mindfulness for young readers. When Sofia struggles to find the perfect game to play, she meets Tai Turtle, who introduces her to the practice of mindfulness. As the other forest animals grow curious, they, too, join in, discovering the power of slowing down, breathing deeply, and being present. Through fun and engaging stories, Sofia and Tai will continue to teach their friends—and young readers—simple ways to bring mindfulness into everyday life, to help manage big emotions, and self-regulate.
