Paperback. "The truth for the price of a lie. Buy one, get one free." Choked by the toxic tension eating away at her relationship, Lorna watches her reality shatter to pieces one morning. Trapped on a bus that suddenly drops out of time, she gets thrown into a twisted survival game with a handful of strangers, all orchestrated by a mysterious entity: Echoen. From a greasy American diner where finishing your plate is strictly forbidden, to a disco roller rink where skating backward is a literal death sentence, every single room in this nightmarish maze enforces its own rules. If she wants any hope of seeing daylight again, Lorna has to decode deadly illusions and deal with the group's growing paranoia. But in this mental prison where every reflection warps reality and details from the past bubble back up, the biggest threat might not actually be the machinery keeping them locked inside. An oppressive and immersive read, Find the Liar is a claustrophobic psychological thriller. It's a surreal story about deep denial, where the line between reality and absolute madness crumbles on every single page. “The truth for the price of a lie. Buy one, get one free.”
London, 2026. Suffocating under the strain tearing through her relationship, Lorna watches her reality splinter. Trapped aboard a bus that somehow slips out of time, she is thrown with a handful of strangers into a survival game orchestrated by a mysterious company: Echoën Ltd.
From a greasy diner where finishing your plate is forbidden to a disco roller rink where skating backward can kill you, every room in the labyrinth comes with its own rules. To make it back to daylight, Lorna will have to decipher its illusions while surviving the group’s growing paranoia. But as every certainty begins to crack, the greatest danger may not be the machinery keeping them trapped.
Claustrophobic and immersive, Find the Liar is a psychological thriller about denial, paranoia, and the lies people cling to when survival is at stake.
Find the Liar opens Echoën Fallacy, the first trilogy in the STONE DIVERSION universe, a dystopian reimagining of London after an unprecedented geophysical catastrophe. In the society that emerges, contracts, media, and the rules of everyday life take on new forms.
