"The first edition of The Final Solution was published fifteen years ago. It was then the only English work on the subject of the destruction of European Jewry in the period 1939–1945, as well as the first in any language to present the subject as a historical sequence. In the course of fifteen years, new details have come to light. The author has endeavoured to incorporate them in this thoroughly revised version without expanding the text into an inordinate length.".
