Unable to leave it behind, Filomena carries it home and hides it in the wooden chest at the foot of her bed. When the egg hatches, revealing a tiny dragon with opalescent scales and the extraordinary gift of invisibility, Filomena names him Flicker.Together they share lullabies beneath the stars, secret adventures through ancient forests, and a friendship stronger than fear itself. But Valle Nebbiosa is a village built on old stories, and old stories have long memories. Strange winds stir. Fires burn where no flame should be. Whispers spread through the cobbled streets. Soon the people Filomena loves begin to fear the very creature she has sworn to protect. As storms gather over the mountains and the bridge between fear and understanding begins to crack, Filomena must make an impossible choice. Will she hide the friend who changed her world.or teach an entire village that the things we fear most are sometimes the things we simply do not yet understand?A timeless tale of courage, kindness, and the extraordinary magic of choosing love over fear, Filomena and Flicker is a heartwarming adventure that will delight readers who believe that friendship can change everything.
