What if the life you were meant to live was one floor above the one you settled for?
At Le Cinquième Séjour — a discreet Alpine retreat above Geneva — couples arrive to repair relationships that have quietly lost their heat. Run by the mysterious twin sisters Deva and Luna, the building promises peace, restoration, and silence.
It has four floors. The brochure mentions nothing else.
But guests begin dreaming of a fifth. And then finding it.
On the fifth floor, memory is not the past — it is a room you can enter. Time moves differently. Identities shift. And the lives you chose, and the lives you didn't, are equally present and equally real.
Some guests return transformed. Some do not return at all.
The Fifth Floor is a mesmerising novel of love, loss, relationships, and the hidden storeys of the self — because every life has a storey it has never dared to enter.
"Luminous, unsettling, and deeply human — a novel that stays with you like a half-remembered dream."
