Charming little collection about the "little people" who play such a huge role in the folkloric & literary traditions of Ireland. In 71 pages, each brilliantly illustrated, this is the definitive guide to 13 of these magical creatures & what to expect should you encounter them. First published in 1997 by Appletree, this is the First US Edition, First Printing, from 1998. Small hardcover (5" x 7.25") has bright yellow paper over boards decorated with the same image as on the accompanying DJ. Both are in Fine condition: just a tad less perfect than Brand New! Completely clean, bright, & unmarked, binding strong & straight. Book shows tiny indentation to lower-outer corner of front board. DJ shows teeny dark spot to same lower edge. Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have on hand. Same day shipping on all orders received by 2 pm Pacific time (Pacific); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next business day.
