When Fidget screamed for ice cream, she had no idea her plans for a sweet treat would begin with a stinky cow!
Fidget's curious mind takes her on an exciting journey from a local farm to her very own kitchen, where she discovers where some of her favorite ice cream ingredients come from and how a kitchen can become an ice cream parlor.
Fidget Screams for Ice Cream is more than a fun story about a favorite frozen treat. It introduces children to the connection between farms, food and the kitchen through curiosity, exploration and hands-on learning.
As children follow Fidget's adventure, they can:
• Discover where ingredients come from
• Explore the connection between farms and the foods they eat
• Learn about ingredients used to make a favorite treat
• Follow Fidget's curiosity from the farm to the kitchen
• Be inspired to explore food through a hands-on experience
• Turn reading into an opportunity to cook, create and make memories together
