About the Author
Daniel D. Fox is a game designer and winner of two gold ENNIE Awards at Gen Con for Best Game and Product of the Year with his fantasy horror game ZWEIHANDER RPG. He has since created Main Gauche, Dark Astral, Flames of Freedom Grim & Perilous RPG, Fever Knights RPG, ZWEIHANDER Fantasy Horror RPG Starter Kit, and produced Blackbirds RPG, Eternal Night of Lockwood, and To Be Or Not To Be A Villain. When Daniel isn't designing tabletop role-playing games or board games, he's enjoying his other favorite hobby: cafe racer motorcycles. He lives in the City of Fountains with his wife Ali and their two young kobolds.
Anna Goldberg (she/they) is a writer, editor, and geek of all trades. She designed her first game as a young kid when she and her siblings remade an old Monopoly Junior board into a game of diplomacy, backstabbing, and world history. Since then, Anna has worked on Flames of Freedom, the Zweihander Fantasy Horror RPG: Starter Kit, and Blackbirds, and she is thrilled to be part of the Fever Knights creative team. In addition to her work on Zweihander products, Anna is the co-founder of 6 String Games, a TTRPG micropress that publishes games from the stranger side of storytelling. She has worked with Mage Hand Press, DOTS RPG, and elsewhere making games and game-related content of all sorts. When they’re not playing or making games, Anna is an avid cosplayer, tea drinker, and bibliophile. They are the cofounder of the Disability Readathon, a semi-annual event dedicated to celebrating books and media created by disabled authors. They also do disability advocacy and consulting for games, cosplay events, and other geeky endeavors, promoting inclusivity and access for all. Anna resides in the Pacific Northwest, in a bog witch’s dwelling she shares with her husband and their two dogs.
Gabe Hicks is an independent game designer for digital and tabletop. He's currently working on a Goblin Dating Sim called Hidden Treasures, created the CMM an alternate creation tool for 5e focused on narrative and the class itself which has been downloaded over 10,000 times and been featured on multiple shows and even the Roll20 marketplace. He has worked with Roll20, Paizo, Shadow Health, MageHandPress, MCDM, Andrews McMeel Publishing, and more. An avid cosplayer, voice actor, streamer, and writer Gabe is seen wearing many hats with the focus that you can always find a balance, especially when you learn who can help you create those stories. He leads a group called Mythic Grove that focuses on highlighting smaller creators to give them an opportunity and platform on a game design project so they can both get experience and show their capability. One of the most important focuses for him is the emphasis of what a community can create. "Let's put more magic into the world, together."
Kate Bullock is a community and convention organizer with a passion for creating safer and more inclusive spaces within the TTRPG community. She’s one of the main organizers of Breakout Gaming Convention, community manager for Magpie Games, and the president of the Indie Game Developer Network. You can find her blog, Bluestocking’s Organic Gaming, filled with in depth analyses of the gaming community and what we can do to make it better. Kate is a consultant for safety and inclusion in the RPG world, as well as a content editor for RPGs to ensure they meet industry standards around inclusion and safety. You can find her games Crossroads Carnival, Savior, Remember Me, and more on DriveThruRPG, or see her work in Atlas Animalia, Dust, Fog, and the Glowing Ember, and After the War.
