Profusely illustrated with b/w and duo-tone reproductions of photographs of the games and events of the second Workers Olympics, held in 1929 in Nürnberg (Nuremberg). The first Olympics of this kind took place in 1922 in Leipzig. Includes photos of Nuremberg, its architecture and surroundings, landscapes, parades, mass-gymnastic exercises, competitions, sequences of exercise routines, few plans and drawings. Some photographs in photomontage. Includes few poems. Slight age wear, foxing and some staining on wraps. Wrappers of No. 6 detached, but present. Sporadic foxing to some pages. Text in German.
