Travel and Real Estate
Welcome to the world of Feng Shui whether a novice or an expert in the field. You will find the information herein will accentuate a more dynamic flow of ch'i to create or enhance your travel menu.
Let's start with the importance of your declaration to bring travel to the forefront. It is important to believe that travel is accessible to you. The question on "how do I create this?" will show up later. Give yourself time to work your plan and think passionately about this. When you express your thoughts on paper you begin the flow. What will you discover or uncover? You will discover a sense of empowerment and begin to lay the foundation unfolding the red carpet to new destinations. You will uncover latent potential that lie waiting to be tapped into. The universe has a vast quantity of unlimited potential and is ready and willing to affirm this for you.
In 2002, I took my first Feng Shui class. As a student, I learned and realized that those who are energetically practicing Feng Shui make changes by shifting energy to make way for attracting new energy that is lighter and in the flow, so you can activate positive changes for the better. If you are skeptical of how Feng Shui can make these changes, test the teachings. It will make you a believer. Feng Shui definitely works when you apply it. If you set up your space with strong doubts, you will dilute or slow down the results of what you intended to create. Doubt gets in the way of your intention and sabotages the changes you want to achieve.
Another thing to consider is timing. If you are in the process of experiencing radical changes in your life it is important to stay focused on your goal. Don't quit! Stay centered as much as possible until you get a foothold on your goal. You will know when that time appears. Also, it takes courage to move forward ... step through the fear of uncharted territory. This is how you grow! What do I mean by this? In order to produce change you need to make a commitment to yourself that you will see it through.
Be serious about this step ... leaping toward your potential. You will not be disappointed once you have set everything in place for your highest good.
In my experience when I first started Feng Shui, I listened to find what spark would be generated, to help me in the areas I was already pursuing in my life. There was a lot that I learned that would be put into practice.
It was toward the end of the class that a light bulb flashed on, when the mention of 'Helpful People and Travel' was introduced. 'Travel' was the keyword. I wanted to experience more of it in my life. I wanted to see the world! More importantly, I wanted to create travel in relation to business ventures.
I have traveled sporadically before I was involved with Feng Shui. However, a new seed was planted and quickly matured to harvest greater opportunities. I did not know at the time how it would fall into place but I was content knowing a positive outcome would soon develop.
Have patience as you continue in the process! When you find yourself getting impatient take a drive, go to your favorite beach or find a trail to walk. This will help clear your head of unwanted dialogs that get in the way of progress.
Stay on course. Something will happen that supports your quest and the challenge will feel insignificant. It will present itself more like an opportunity. I encourage you not to share your ideas or intentions with naysayers. They do not resonate with the same energy frequency that you need to optimize the potential you are seeking. A naysayer is generally not in touch with their highest good or anyone else's.
Congratulations on your stand, trek and mission to travel the course to make a difference in your life, to the degree that your dreams become real! Sometimes a significant change is needed to bring the balance you want in financial, emotional, and physical circumstances. In extreme cases it can feel painful coming close to getting what you want. This is merely a temporary process because taking action on this step will produce significant change.
The ego doesn't want to let go. Rely on spiritual guidance to light your way, and use the gift you have been given through Feng Shui. I am in support of your Dreams. My goal is to encourage you to believe in yourself and your potential. "Dreams really do come true" as I stated in the 'Introduction' of this book. If you really want something you can remove the obstacles preventing your dreams from being experienced. The great masters in history found the secret that met every need. Yes, it is true, all needs are met. How many recognize this important fact. Anything beyond our needs are categorized as a want. It is okay to want as long as you acknowledge the blessings that already exist in your life. Keep an open mind, trust your choices, trust that the universe will charter the course toward your highest potential.

Be thankful and show gratitude. It is disrespectful to ask for more when you show no appreciation for what you have at this moment. It is time to start from where you are right now.

Wake up every morning with the attitude of gratitude, even if you feel you have been run over by a train. Pretty soon you will find it entertaining on how you amuse yourself. Start by looking in the mirror first thing ... that can be amusing! Instead of looking at what you think you see, try seeing the God or Goddess inside you.
Everything you see is a reflection of you. If a tree catches your eye and you begin to admire its beauty, its age, its growth, that is a reflection of you. I'm not saying you are as old as the tree. You may interpret it as many lifetimes or decades it took to grow wise and strong. Perhaps in another lifetime when you were a little girl or boy you stood before this tree and it was only a few feet high. Hold the thought of God or Goddess and you will see the light shining through you!
Do you have a mentor or someone you admire that would serve as a model whom you would like to emulate? What are you inspired to do with the rest of your life and still not lose sight of your true identity? Do you really know what that is?
Who is that person inside you? I D your entity and you will find your true self. This is what is hidden in finding your identity.
Your personality is a reflection of your emotional body which changes with new perceptions to new reactions. It is also a composite of life's experiences and how you internalized it through your physical nature.
Your higher self on the other hand, is the pure essence of your (ID-entity) which is a spiritual essence, your real or true self.
In simpler terms, your personality is a development of characteristics that can change as your life changes.
Your higher (true) self is the spiritual essence of you which never changes. It will reflect as a spiritual being, which has the power to transform your personality.
One's personality has a will of its own which is connected to the ego. Your higher self reflects what God is, a Spirit Being, the spiritual essence inside of you.
I would like to take this point further to another reflection of "beingness" with animals. The true story below will tell how connected you can be through the love of animals. Part of spiritual "beingness" is the desire to help another.
One of my hobbies or favorite pastime is photography. This picture was taken in my yard. I have a strong connection with deer because of an unforgettable experience I had with my friend Valerie Eagle Heart Meyer in the San Bernardino Mountains. We were driving along the highway winding our way up the mountain to gather sage when something appeared on the side of the road. The first thought, it was a tire but as we got much closer we realized it was an injured deer. We thought the deer was hit by a car as it was crouched down, motionless, starring off in the distance. Valerie insisted we stay with the deer until help arrived. A ranger finally stopped and then drove on to make the report at the ranger station. More people arrived indigenous to Native American culture. At one time we were all sending healing to the deer.
Forty-five minutes went by and still no help. We used a combination of healing techniques accompanying hands-on healing. The deer finally responded as if coming out of a daze and jumped to its feet. It scampered across the road and laid down for a while in the thicket where we could still see it, watching us. Then it rose to its feet once more and dashed into the tundra. What an exhilarating feeling to help this beauty in the wild! This is a portion spiritual 'beingness', being in the right place at the right time and offering assistance to an otherwise helpless situation.
Valerie and I continued on after the incident, to gather our sage. We couldn't stop talking about the experience because we both knew our encounter had a deeper meaning and we decided to share our thoughts after a few days of meditation, internalizing the experience. I called Valerie and told her the message I received. "The deer came to me and told me how grateful she was for the healing we gave to her. She wanted to give us deer medicine in return." This was truly an unexpected gift! Ever since that time I have felt a strong connection with deer energy. And even now, as I continue to write from my little cottage in the woods, I feel the pull to seek out the many places where the deer wander.
You may wonder how this story fits in with Feng Shui? The little cabin in the woods from where I am typing is a manifestation of Feng Shui. The picture of the deer can be seen from my cottage window. The connection I want to make here is the heart of your desire is a reflection of you and divine mind. In experiencing positive associations like the story above you will manifest ONE of a kind truths that bring you into divine mind or your higher self.

My husband and I had a few parcels of land that we wanted to sell. This was only months before real estate took a sudden turn. We placed our intentions in a silver envelope setting it in the 'helpful people/travel' section which is to the far right corner inside the front entrance to your home, and designated a time frame of 3 or 4 months to manifest. There will be more discussion about silver envelopes later.
In a few short months we had an offer. The person buying the property did not want to build but rather use it for her art students to paint on the land.
How wonderful! Now that we had a buyer, we wanted to invest in a second home. We had 45 days to roll over the monies made from the property to a home. Nearing this deadline, we found our perfect little cottage in the woods! Deer wander through our yard quite frequently.
It was only 10 years prior that we purchased the land that manifested into this fine dream. Where are you going to be in 10 years? You probably aren't sure. That is why you want to start now to develop the future you want to create. If you think this took too long to manifest, imagine what it will look like if you do nothing at all. Now that is predictable. Ten years will arrive no matter what you decide to do. If you don't have the money, start with an idea to create it. Perhaps there is something else you would like to acquire like a family business, or form a partnership of some kind. There are certainly ways you can get around a large investment by starting a business that is home based or have meetings in your home to master-mind creative ideas for your projects or events.
I will be discussing different scenarios in the following chapters to help deliver your dreams to you.

Helpful People and Travel
With respect to helpful people and travel, this is where to acknowledge your benefactors, guardian angels, mentors, Jesus, Kwan Yin, Buddha, and other spiritual masters that you seek for guidance and help. They will gladly assist you in your search. Ask with humility when making your requests known. Spirit responds quickly when you are not making demands or commands, just requesting guidance or help to ensure that your life continues to flow in a positive way is enough. Apply this information within the comfort of your belief system. It is meant to enhance your experience, not to offend.
Tools
Creating the perfect altar requires that you embellish your sacred space with meaningful things that draw your attention to fulfilling what you want. To attract travel, you want to have some idea of what kind of travel you want to pursue and where you intend to go. What mode of travel do you want to attract? A new car, or just a more reliable car to get you from place to place? How affective are you in your approach? Are you the go-for-it type, or do you just take what is delivered? And, are you happy with your approach? Do you want to change that as well?
Do you want to travel by bus, limousine, tuk-tuk, or rickshaw? How about flying? Does that excite you? Or, would you rather board a cruise ship to discover new horizons?
Yes, I am pondering lots of questions. I want you to start thinking about your desires, your passion. What areas of travel turn you on? Go through your email list or contact files for mentors, teachers, experts, magicians, anyone who can benefit you in ways that support your dreams.
Create the vision that you will look at and energize every day with your thoughts. If a car is what you need, take a picture or find a model of the car you would like to have and place it on your travel altar. The goal is to create the vision that you will look at and energize every day with your thoughts. It's more like a reminder of what will soon come your way. If possible take a picture of you in the driver's seat. Do not clutter the area with a lot of stuff. You will lose sight and diminish the power of your intention if too much is going on at one time.
In the beginning, just start with a couple of things. It will help you to focus and keep the energy clear. In my classes/ workshops you will learn how to set up an altar to generate the power to attract what you want. It is very empowering to everyone working on their particular goals to manifest their dreams. The whole class becomes supportive of your dreams as it will give energy to their dreams as well. What I like most is the joy within the process. The creativity that comes forth is quite astounding to say the least. The goals are very diverse. One of my students has a goal of teaching dance lessons, traveling to different states to promote dance. It has been a slow start. Yet, another person who has not attended my classes but attended a couple of my lectures merely followed my suggestions. This person has created a full calendar of travel, teaching in foreign countries. The difference between the two was timing. In the first example there were too many obstacles in the way. She was not in the energy of receiving what she wanted because other things were in opposition of her dream. With patience, not losing sight of her dream, she can make this a reality. The second instance shows the passion and the alignment (divine timing) that manifested this person's dreams like a magnet! Whether or not you are able to attend my travel workshop I believe you will receive enough information from this book to get you started.
Another ingredient necessary to materialize your dream is commitment. If you don't have a clue about what you want, start with something that interests you until you find that something you want to commit to. There is no sense being behind the wheel of a car if you don't know where you are going, as it is impossible to get an airplane ticket to nowhere.
