Wraps. 92 pp. A little magazine containing essays, fiction and poetry focusing on feminist and lesbian issues. Feminary began in 1969, originally named the Female Liberation Newsletter of Durham, N.C. It was founded by a collective of feminists in the area. Originally the magazine explored feminist issues that intersected with lesbian issues, especially focusing on working class women. After a brief hiatus in 1972, the magazine started publishing again in 1973, and by 1978 had rebranded itself as a magazine focusing on lesbian issues. It ceased publishing in 1982. This issue with work by Cris South, Minnie Bruce Pratt and others. GOOD condition. Moderate to heavy toning, especially along the spine. Rear cover with moderate foxing. Minor soiling.
