About the Author: Prof. Yuning Wu graduated from Beijing Medical University in 1970. In 1985 she passed a nationwide exam administered by the Ministry of Public Health and received a WHO Fellowship Award to work and study at the University of Ottawa, School of Medicine, followed by studies as a Visiting Scholar at Yale University and the University of California in 1988. On her return to China she was appointed head of the Gynaecology and Teaching Departments of Beijing Hospital of TCM. In 1990 she won the first prize of TCM Inheritance from the Beijing Administration of TCM and was awarded the status of Distinguished Veteran Doctor of TCM in 2015 and Famous TCM Master in Beijing in 2017.
