The day Lisa Bain's mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she said these words to her daughter. Lisa took her mother's advice and picked up her pen at the beginning of a frightening health crisis. She discovered that God was faithful to give her words that were not only a comfort to her, but many others. This book is an invitation to journey through a decade of writings. From Joy Jumps and Comfort Food to Dog Days and Grateful Moments, this book challenges us to believe that God had something to reveal at every turn in the road. Sometimes, the storms come, and we have a choice: do we feel the rain, or just get wet? In these writings, Lisa invites us into her life, introducing us to a whole new way of thinking about how we walk through our days, and our decades.
