About the Author
Jen Ostrich, PCC, CEO, Grow CollectiveJen is a skillful executive coach, facilitator, speaker, and now author. As the CEO of the Grow Collective, she leads the charge in coaching, creating, and facilitating content that empowers leaders and teams. Her grow-effect model leverages both psychology and neuroscience to unlock one's ability to grow to thrive. Through intuitive brain-based coaching, strategic thinking, and authentic communication, Jen brings a unique ability to think like a coach, a business, and a brand. Jen began coaching on her own in 2012 when she launched ostrich coaching + consulting, focused on developing creative leaders in the advertising industry (after a 14-year career in the business). In 2016, she co-created and launched the Shift Positive Method, a revolutionary approach to feedback grounded in Positive Psychology + Allyship, making it highly effective. In 2021, Jen was named one of the Top 20 Coaches in Austin, Texas, by Influence Digest. Jen was trained at the prestigious Hudson Institute in 2011 and today is a PCC level coach through the ICF. Since 2017 she's been an active certified practitioner and huge believer in the Integrative9 Enneagram. Additionally, she is a graduate of the School of Communications at the Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Advertising/PR and a minor in Business. In her free time, she can be found at a 5:30 a.m. CrossFit class or eating her way through Austin with her outrageously handsome Vizsla/Lab mix, Koko.
