Faust remains the personification of humanity, tempted and tormented, groping toward the light. Condition: dust jacket/good and book/very good. Small book, blue cloth, 258 pages of verse translated by Bayard Taylor, plus catalog--text block edges are browned. Dust jacket is red paper with white lettering and illustration on front of books, hourglass, candle, scythe and mask. DJ has very tiny nicks, tear and slight wear to edges and tips.
