Item description from seller

Original brown stamped cloth. 6" by 4". 160 pp. Presentation book from Methodist Bishop E. S. Janes to William Miller. Pasted down inside the front cover (covering it all) is a printed presentation text by E. S. Janes dated Feb. 20, 1862 in New York. Bishop Janes makes this presentation because William Miller (like William Reeves) is a class-leader in the Methodist Episcopal Church. In addition to commending Miller, Janes writes about Reeves and recommends other reading. Miller's name is written in ink; Jane's name is printed. A small spot on the front cover, slight foxing, Very Good. Nice copy of this book and an interesting Janes item.
