In a distant solar system, a dying red dwarf star has locked its first planet in a constantly degrading orbit. Zetara Prime exists in eternal shadow by its home star forcing the technologically advanced Zetarans to live underground in the twilight zones to escape their planet's inhospitable surface. When Sattek discovers an anomaly in one of his assigned observation sectors, the introspective researcher for the Zetaran Stellar Observatory is drawn into a cosmic mystery. The discovery of this anomaly sets him on a collision course with the past, present, and an uncertain future for his people.

Amid a backdrop of political tensions, groundbreaking technology, and the looming reality of Zetara Prime's continuing decline, Sattek must navigate the challenges of duty and personal ambition. As his team races to explain the anomaly, the question remains: Is this a new beginning for the Zetarans, or the harbinger of their end?
