Philadelphia, Printed from the London Third Edition, by James Humphreys, 1801. Same year as the first American edition (New York). Xxx, 140pp. + [3]pp. publisher's ads. Ffep lacking; p. x torn; p. xv corner torn off; light stains and spotting throughout; early flower drawn on rear endpaper; leather covers rubbed but still very good, with red title label to spine. James Humphreys was a Tory who fled to Nova Scotia during the Revolution, but returned to Philadelphia to resume his printing business. Seller Inventory # 007299
