About the Author: Andrew Pearce grew up in Kent, England with motorcycles, cars and farm machinery. After study at the University of Nottingham's School of Agriculture, he worked for several years on a farm in Sussex. During this time, he started writing, first for Power Farming and later for Farmer's Weekly. A former instructor of welding and other practical skills, he currently divides his time between writing and the farm workshop.
