Farm Insects: Being the Natural History and Economy of the Insects Injurious to the Field Crops of Great Britain and Ireland, which is also added Infest Barns and Granaries, with suggestions for their destruction.Written by John Curtis who was an Honorary Member of the Ashmolean Society of Oxford and of the Entomological Society of France.With sixteen hand coloured engravings on steel and this volume is also richly illustrated throughout with engravings on wood. Collated, complete.There are bookplates to the front, one stating that this is a valuable work. Please treat it carefully. In full calf binding. Externally, smart with some light marks to the boards and spine. There are bookplates to the front pastedown and free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright clean pages. Very Good.
